You'll notice stories focus on special education. As an expert in the community, my voice is sought and heard in this area. I have written to the board, called individual trustees, and reached out to senior staff many times on other issues in the board as well to offer information, advice, and advocacy. That public input isn't covered by the media but you'll find updates about it here and on my blog (also published to Facebook and Twitter).
