Vote with confidence: endorsements

There's a lot to learn about your local candidates in order to have confidence that they will serve you well as your elected official.

For TVDSB trustees responsible for 5 wards in London (that's 1/3 of the city!), I knew that meeting everyone in person would be physically impossible. I have been out knocking on doors since July, holding online meetings, attending every event for candidates, and more - but for those who haven't met me, I wanted other ways for you to know what I have to offer.

I've been adding to this website since launching it at the end of June and one important page is Endorsements. There, you'll see what others have to say about me that is specific and relevant to the work of a school board trustee.

I have the support of two strong former TVDSB trustees, educational organizations, teachers, parents, principals, and other dedicated community members. There are many more who support my work and my campaign but I limited my endorsements page to a few comments - enough, I hope, that you feel even more confident in casting your vote for me this election.

Here are excerpts from some of my endorsements:

I'm committed to the community, to kids, and to serving you well. My track record on this speaks for itself and the endorsements add to the story.

If you'd like to connect before casting your vote, please do! I want you to call me to talk when there are concerns (and when things are going well). I want to connect and know what's going on in the community. Leaders can only serve the community well when they are listening.

I've been listening for the past several months - it's how the priorities and goals of this campaign were created.
