I had the pleasure of speaking with Craig for his podcast, Needles on News, today.
We talked about accountability in the board, communications surrounding mask rules, and what's been happening with B. Davison Secondary School.
The status of B. Davison has been on my radar for over a year through my work on one of TVDSB's committees. Hearing concerns voiced in the media about the school's declining enrolment and suggestions that the students there weren't successful was really concerning to me. I will follow up with more details about that in another post.
TVDSB has a lot to offer the community and staff work to make a difference in the community. However, it's my personal opinion that we do need more transparency and the accountability that follows in order for our school board to function optimally. We can always work to do better.
